Birdhouses USA began in our back yard in the small town of Phelps New York, some time in 1986 as a hobby using discarded building materials and tree limbs.

Over a period of time our products evolved from plain, old, everyday birdhouses and feeders to a wide variety of artistically painted and decorated products, all still keeping our focus on price, durability, functional use and decorative purposes.

We take orders for those who have a lot of gift giving, and from organizations, businesses, and for those who want replicas of a favorite home or building.

Today, our products are offered to retailers in hopes of proving that American Made products can be more tastefully and economically appealing than those shipped in from other countries. Besides... who knows the nesting and feeding habits of American birds better... a large Chinese exporting corporation, or a local American family?

Simplified Hanging Birdhouses
  We say they are "Simplified" because they aren't all decked out with twigs and mosses and there is no cleanout... Why? Let me explain...
  We kept our rustic burned look, our trademark "Log on top" and the great down to earth roof colors, yet the wood is hardwood, 1/2" thick for lighter weight, and there is no cleanout because we found on the average that the majority of people never use it anyways! This line can be made with less hassle and that means a BIG SAVINGS for you!
  They are still fully functional, and inexpensive enough to replace if they are badly weathered orhave been used for a couplr of seasons .

  Who said we're only about birdhouses?  These great rustic Crate Tops portray a variet of scenes and sayings!
  They make for a great display beside your front door to the cottage or camp,....ours is beside the door to our home!
   We were looking for a new and unique idea for a completely different product when by accident we came upon miles of this 2"x1/2"  New York Grown and harvested soft hard wood. Well, wreaths were out of the question and we decided to work the wood this way .  We knew that a scene on a background frame was what we were looking for and wow!!.. look what we came up with!
   It's a hit! there are Boating, fishing, birdhouse and wildlife scenes, then we found Holiday scenes work great as well!
   They measure 8" wide x 19" tall.  They are treated for interior or exterior use and make Unique Gift Ideas!
We have moved! Yes it's true. We have moved our production back to Phelps New York.
   We are working hard to build and organize our new shop. This will affect the way we do business now and in the future. For now however, we ask for your patience as we build our new shop and get the bugs worked out. So please note our address is now :

To the far left is our Finger Lakes Chair/ plant stand. Made from native soft wood this plant stand can hold a 1 gallon potted plant. Measures : 32" tall x 13" wide x 13" deep holds 30lbs maximum weight.
   In center is our Finger Lakes style plant stand.
Measures: 13" tall x 13" square and can hold up to a 1/2 gallon potted plant. Holds 15lbs maximum weight.
   To the right is our Finger Lakes style bench plant stand. Measures: 36" tall x 26" long x 13" deep and can hold 2 - 1 gallon potted plants.  Holds 50lbs maximum weight.
       for display of potted plants only and not designed for sitting or standing on.
In the picture to the right is our Finger Lakes style Vining Trellis. They are made from native soft wood. and are designed to withstand the stresses of growing vinning plants.  A great addition to the flower garden. Measures: 7 feet tall and 20" square at base.
   Our Line of Finger Lakes style *plant stands comes in untreated wood, stained early american oak, or our 4 basic colors, White, Hunter Green, Starry Night Blue, Victorian Garnett Red.
    Our Line of Finger Lakes Style *Lawn Furniture resembles our line of Finger Lakes style plant stands, yet is functional for seating.  PLEASE indicate plant stand or lawn furniture when asking for or ordering ! ** Remember, our plant stands can not be used as furniture!
To the left is our Fingerlakes style Planter Box. They are made of native soft wood and come with either the heart or a pine tree on the front, sides and back of the planter.  This planter shown has a Slate blue/gray stain, and also comes unfinished, Early American Oak stained, White, Hunter Green, Starry Night Blue, or Victorian Garnett Red. Measures: 12" wide x 24" long x 24" tall and has a 8"deep box for planting medium.
